Why This Step Matters:
This step is optional, but highly recommended if your credit report shows collections, charge-offs, late payments, or high inquiries. These issues will block you from funding and may cause landlords to deny your application.
If you’re already in good standing, you’ll simply confirm that—and move on.
If you’re not? Don’t stress. Credit repair is 100% included with your membership at no extra cost.
✅ What You’ll Do in This Step:
- Pull your SmartCredit report – We need this to evaluate your file.
- We review your profile – If repair is needed, we’ll handle the dispute process for you.
- If needed, submit the following to begin credit repair:
- Copy of your ID
- Copy of your Social Security card (or W-2/tax doc showing full SSN)
- Copy of a utility bill with your name and address
- Your signature on a blank white piece of paper

What If My Credit Is Already Good?
✅ Great! You’ll still need to complete this step and select “No” when asked if you need credit repair.
